The Head of Mission, Anders Wiberg, and EUAM Iraq’s Senior Strategic Advisers received Lieutenant General Ziad Taha, Minister's Advisor for Training Affairs, Major General Sabah Hoshi Mohammed, Director General of the Training and Qualification Directorate, Major General Ala'a Ashur, Director General of International Cooperation Directorate and Major General Talal Ali, Head of Commanders Qualification Center.

The focus was on the 2025 training plan and how this can best be accompanied by advice and assistance from the Missions experts. After an introduction of the advisers and their respective expertise, there was a lively exchange on the cooperation to date and future expectations. The high-ranking Iraqi representatives showed great appreciation for the support provided by the Mission in the past and expressed their willingness to further intensify this cooperation. Both sides spoke in favour of regular meetings.
