In conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) Director General, Planning and Follow Up Directorate (PFUD), EUAM Iraq Senior Strategic Advisors facilitated an organisational development workshop at the EUAM Iraq/MoI Joint Coordination Centre in Baghdad.

The overall goal was to enhance institutional and organisational effectiveness and governance with a specific focus on normative statistical standards, information management and data analytics. 

The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of accurate data collection and analysis as a critical baseline for decision-making, policy interventions, performance management and accountability, as well as critical linkages to annual and multi-annual strategic planning and evaluation. 20 participants, drawn from across key functional areas, shared their experiences from the field.

EUAM Iraq supported and accompanied PFUD in the planning and implementation of the workshop. This cooperation ensures that the topics covered always meet the needs of the national partners.
