EUAM Iraq Head of Mission Christoph Buik met yesterday with the National Security Adviser (NSA) Mr. Qasim Muhammad Jalal Al-Araj to discuss possibilities to further enhance cooperation.

Mr. Al-Araj thanked the Mission for the very positive partnership, particularly regarding the advisory work on the National Security Strategy and Countering Violent Extremism. Mr. Buik emphasised the importance of strengthening the collaboration toward the common goal of advancing civilian SSR in Iraq.
