27-04-2022

EUAM Iraq’s senior strategic advisors have successfully conducted three advisory sessions for planners in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) Human Resources General Directorate.

The sessions were carried out on the 21st, 24th and 26th April 2022 at MoI’s Commanders Qualification and Training Centre and EUAM Iraq’s Joint Coordination Centre in Baghdad.

20 participants attended each session showing a high level of interest, teamwork and engagement in the planning exercises and theoretical discussions.

The overall aim of the workshops was to provide strategic advice on the strategic planning concept as well as showing how it can be used in the planning of Human Resources Management to support the Ministry of Interior in achieving its strategic objectives.

“Our hope is that the present and upcoming sessions will support the Ministry of Interior’s planners in gaining additional professional knowledge, increase their professionalism and contribute towards a more stable and secure future”, said Anders Johansen, EUAM Iraq’s Deputy Head of Mission.

The sessions were carried out based on a request by Major General Hussein Sabhan, Director of Human Resources Management at MoI and are planned to be provided to a total of 200 planners at the Human Resources General Directorate by the end of 2022.
